"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions." Joel 2:28

Monthly News!

So, I am super excited about my new novella The Anitdote. But I am nervous at the sometime because this is my first paranormal romance for the YA genre, and I don't know how the teens will react to it. Beside the cute guy on the cover :). I was a little skeptical about releasing the novella because it was just for fun, however I told myself "Candice...you never know."

Bloody Rose is in its early stages. I will be spending the rest of the year writing this one. I love suspense so I want to make sure my readers are on the edge of their seats when they read it. I think the characters that I have developed is a great cast, and I hope everyone enjoys reading them :)

In other news I need a vacation from my job...again. Yes, I know I just had one two weeks ago, but I need another one. I put in my request for September, so I hope I get approved. This will allow me some time to myself. I have been dreaming of going to the Berkeley Marina to seat in front of the water with my lap top, digging my toes in the sand. I think I will do that this go round.

This is me!!! I wish...LOL!

Review: Midnight and the Meaning of Love

Midnight and the Meaning of Love

Sister Souljah, the New York Times bestselling author of The Coldest Winter Ever and Midnight, delivers her most compelling and enlightening story yet. With Midnight and The Meaning of Love, Souljah brings to her millions of fans an adventure about young, deep love, the ways in which people across the world express their love, and the lengths that they will go to have it.
Powerful and sensual, Midnight is an intelligent, fierce fighter and Ninjutsu-trained ninja warrior. He attracts attention wherever he goes but remains unmoved by it and focuses on protecting his mother and sister and regaining his family’s fortunes. When Midnight, a devout Muslim, takes sixteen-year-old Akemi from Japan as his wife, they look forward to building a life together, but their tumultuous teenage marriage is interrupted when Akemi is kidnapped and taken back to Japan by her own father, even though the marriage was consummated and well underway.
“There’s not one drop of inferiority in my blood,” Midnight says as he first secures his mother, Umma, and sister, Naja, before setting off on a global journey to reclaim his wife. Midnight must travel across three countries and numerous cultures in his attempt to defeat his opponent. Along this magnificent journey he meets people who change him forever, even as he changes them. He encounters temptations he never would have imagined and takes risks that many a lesser man would say no to, all for the women he loves and is sworn to protect.

Review: I was not planing on writing a reviewing on this book, but since I just finished it I guess I should since it is fresh in my mind. OK, so I read the first book Midnight and this one is the squeal to the first one. All I have to say is if you like long drawn out books this is the book for you. I had to put it down a few times because I got bored with it. No kidding. But this book was good as far as learning different cultures our than the american culture. Japanese, Korean, and Sudanese cultures were the highlight of this book. Honestly...the first one was better. It had more excitement. Would I recommend this book? Yes I would to other people whom are into great details and long books.

Had To Post This!!!

I am a huge Twilight fan and I had to post the movie trailer to Breaking Dawn Part 1

Summer 2011 Book: The Antidote

Hello all,

I was not planning on publishing this book. It is called The Antidote which is a novella that I had wrote just for fun. But because I have added more to it and gave it a proper ending I convinced myself to publish it. I am in the process of polishing it up and then I will send it off to my editor.

Here is a new summer book by C. S. Dorsey

The Antidote

Sneak Peek: Alejandro Calderon is your average teenager, but when Francesca Rivera walks in his government class his life is suddenly thrown off. Who is this girl that has captured his attention with her mysterious looks? He makes every effort to get Francesca’s attention, but she is there for one thing only and that is to protect Alejandro from the Lukos (wolves) army. Francesca has no choice but to tell Alejandro who he really is as things take a turn for the worst.
